Description

I had this poem stuck in my head as I was looking at this remake of my older image, "Iron Reaver Soul Stealer" (now in Scraps):

"Tyger! Tyger! burning bright
In the forests of the night
What immortal hand or eye
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?" -- by William Blake

(the full poem is at bottom of this post)

Okay, so maybe Inu's not a tiger on fire in a forest at night, but he is a "yasha" (forest spirit), loves to sleep and relax in trees, even has a forest named after him, and he is a kind of "liondog." Are you buying this? No? ;)

Anyhoo....

"Iron Reaver Soul Stealer" REVISIONS 11/16/04

1) I tried to keep Inuyasha just as intimidating but not scary/ugly ;)
2) Major hair redo
3) Facial expression updated
4) Pose and camera tweaked
5) Claws retouched to look more natural
6) Forest background added
7) Pan "speed" blur added to forest and Inu
8) Blue and yellow duotone for night effect
9) Larger image at higher resolution

Enjoy!
All comments welcome. :D

Tyger ! Tyger !
by William Blake

Tyger! Tyger! burning bright
In the forests of the night
What immortal hand or eye
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?

In what distant deeps or skies
Burnt the fire of thine eyes?
On what wings dare he aspire?
What the hand dare sieze thy fire?

And what shoulder, & what art,
Could twist the sinews of thy heart?
And why thy heart began to beat,
What dread hand? & what dread feet?

What the hammer? what the chain?
In what furnace was thy brain?
What the anvil? what dread grasp
Dare its deadly terrors grasp?

When the stars threw down their spears
And water'd heaven with their tears,
Did he smile his work to see?
Did he who made the Lamb make thee?

Tyger! Tyger! burning bright
In the forests of the night,
What immortal hand or eye
Dare frame thy fearful symmetry?
