Kira, Do you know L loves Apples too?
It amuses me that the good guys (L) use the light colored Apples and the bad guys (Kira) use the dark colored PCs in Deathnote. And it's very cute how in the one-shot manga, baby L's first computer was the original 1984 Macintosh. How cute it that? ^^ Here's my latest take on L in 3d. My first L was more Asian looking, this one leans toward English look from the anime/manga, but there are some elements of Matsuyama Kenichi's L here too. The new L has a new face shape, new skin and eye textures, a new dynamic L shirt, and new textures on the jeans. I gave him an Apple looking laptop (but it's not an accurate looking MacBook Pro  ). I gave the image an overall Apple-ish looking feel. I like how stark it is. This, to me, hints that L might be a germ-a-phobe, (that's why he barely touches things?). This background with a typical L pose hint that L has insulated himself from the world for protection. His window to the world comes from his computer. It's a lonely kind of existence, but if you're the world's best detective, you have to be stay hidden or you'll be dead real quick. |
