I've done 2 other L morphs: Asian [link]
Undead Asian [link]
and Western [link]
for M3. For this one, I've using the new DAZ gen 4 figure Hiro 4 as my base. And this time, I'm trying to get closer to the Obata-sensei's original inspiration for L's look.
1) L's body shape. I made him thin, but not too thin. (He does have to be able to kick Light's butt. lol I figure he's lean and toned, so he may look weaker under his baggy clothes than he really is.) Does it work?
2) Eyebrows, or no eyebrows? I did no eyebrows here, but I might try it with brows. Which do you prefer?
3) I can't decide if I should lower the brow bone or not. I tried it and I'm not sure if it works or not. With a lower brow, he starts to look more like a generic anime male. However, in the manga, it does look like he has either a low brow, or he often makes frowny/annoyed brow faces. Thoughts?
This is a quickie Poser 4 render. If you click the image to see large version, you'll notice the render has artifacts. This is because the displacement maps didn't render correctly. This is just to preview how the morph looks.
The hair and face morphs were created in Blacksmith3d.
The texture is a modified Sledmaster for M3, UTCed to M4.
Still working on his long sleeve t-shirt. (This version has some JP problems on the neck.
